I apply entrepreneurial innovation and altruistic resolve to accelerate global transformation.
Several years ago, I walked away from a budding (and lucrative!) legal career on Toronto’s Bay Street. The reason? I decided I wanted to help make our world a better place.
Not knowing where to start, I spent several years exploring history, politics, psychology, business, ecology, entrepreneurship, philanthropy, sociology, spirituality, and current events. I read voraciously, I brainstormed endlessly, I attended countless conferences and seminars, I networked and sought out mentors—all in an effort to figure out how to best contribute to growing a world we’d all want to live in.
REBEARTH and Sharing (a.k.a. Speaking) are how I’ve chosen to make a positive contribution to our world, and each one brings to bear the lessons and wisdom I accumulated during my exploration.
Over the past few years, I’ve been called visionary, naïve, brave, crazy, utopic, a holistic thinker, a compelling communicator, and a dreamer. I am most appreciative of these compliments—especially the one about being a dreamer.
As Victor Hugo famously said: “There is nothing like a dream to create the future.”
MY FAVORITE QUOTE?
The reasonable man adapts himself to the world; the unreasonable one persists to adapt the world to himself. Therefore all progress depends on the unreasonable man. (George Bernard Shaw)
